Samsung Officially launched the Android 12-based One Ui 4.0 operating system and interface update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone series consisting of the vanilla Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra.
This Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series brings richer smartphone customization, security enhancements and updates, added features, and much more.
"We are committed to giving all users access to the best mobile experience as soon as possible," said Janghyun Yoon, Executive Vice President and Head of Software Platform Team at Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics.
He also said that this One Ui 4.0 software update will benefit the entire Samsung ecosystem, including smartphones and tablets, to provide a smoother experience.
The One Ui 4.0 update brings richer customization to the smartphone interface with more colors, new widgets, and a refreshed design.
The security features in One UI 4.0 are also improved, which basically has the same concept as Android 12, where the system will warn the user if an application uses or tries to access the camera or microphone on a smartphone.
Users can choose to disable the camera or microphone if they don't want it in an application in a segment called privacy dashboard by Samsung Samsung stated that they have collaborated with other third-party applications, as well as with Google in the development of their operating systems to ensure a seamless user experience for each of their devices.
The One UI 4.0 update based on Android 12 has officially launched for the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone series starting today and users can check it manually and periodically in Settings > System > Software Update. Samsung announced that this One UI 4.0 update will be rolled out widely in the future for their entire line of smartphones and tablets, as well as for their line of smartwatches, gradually and vary depending on the user region.
